Strictly speaking of foils, my wave 2 booster box pulls consisted of... 16 Common 7 Rare 7 Heroic 1 Legendary 5 Starter My one foil L is Cloud, and unfortunately one of my S foils is also Cloud. It's such a hilariously bad foil that it must be seen to be believed. Here it is side-by-side with a standard version. ![]()  |

Aww that sucks you only got one foil Legendary. On the bright side, my several foil Legendaries from one box are pretty much equal in value to your foil Cloud L. That card is super expensive and most sought after.
I know what you mean about some bad foil cards. A lot of the newer FFVII cards have big close-ups that it's hard to see the foil background.

The foils of the starter deck cards do look really bad in my opinion, especially the ones with black backgrounds. I pulled a foil Snow starter today and you can hardly tell it is foil at all.

Went to my first tournament today and came away with these beauties Cloud was from my prize packs (my first Cloud) and the promos were for the tournament (I came first!)  |

Congrats! I didn't know you get two Sephiroth promos if you win. I thought you just win the foil one and that's it. And nice Cloud pull!
At least there's only a few of the cards that are bad foils, not a whole lot of them. I thought they would've fixed the close-up cards for the new FFTCG to be less blown up. It would look a lot better as foils if they did. But Square Enix just seems to be pulling the same images from the older FFTCG, with the exception of the few cards changes, e.g. Ramza and Squall.

Thanks. I'm not sure if getting both promos is normal or not, our store just did a regular promo for everyone that entered and a foil as well for 1st and 2nd.

But as silly as I am, I'm always more concerned about my stupid FFT cards. 25% of my foils were FFT, and I did get every standard FFT card even if Holy Knight Delita took his sweet time to show up. I was just a hair concerned about that since I didn't get them all in my Japanese Chapter 1 box opening...stupid uncommon Algus/Argath evaded me. As if anybody ever needed another reason to hate that guy. edit: Now that I've had a bit more time to go through my cards, I totally lied about Squall...it was Laguna that I remembered seeing. I pulled 7 standard Legendaries: Lightning, Prishe, Tidus, Ultimecia, Laguna, Golbez , and Bahamut. |

So I know I have an addiction when everytime I see somewhere selling boosters I can't resist buying some and today I bought 15 opus 2 boosters and pulled 6 Legendaries and I also went half's on a booster box with a friend and have 18 pack to open hopefully soon when I see her next.  |

Nice pulls! Vincent does seem really good. There are currently 4 versions of him you can use so the ability to repeatedly activate his special is pretty easy to achieve. Plus he is difficult for your opponent to remove as a lot of removal won't kill him (both Odin's, Edea's ETB & special, Light Cloud's special, Gilgamesh's special etc).

 Just my Legendaries from one of my boxes. I think I did good. I'm glad that it was a lot easier getting a complete set for Opus II. Opus I just had too many cards, which is understandable since they needed enough cards to make the game playable. It was just a collecting nightmare for that set, especially with the shortage. |

They're already out at Potomac Distribution and prices have increased on all the sites.
