I'm curious to know what others are using for TCG accessories when they go to tournaments/events.
I've only ever played Magic the Gathering before, but that was always online. Now that I'm playing FFTCG and starting to attend events, I'm shopping around for TCG accessories.
I currently have an Ultimate Guard Sidewinder 100+ card deck box. I love the quality for their deck boxes and especially the size. It's small and fits in my one hand easily as well as my tote bag without it being too bulky and heavy. It fits two single sleeve decks perfectly, but I started to double sleeve my decks and now both won't fit. âšī¸ So I'm thinking of switching to the 80+ card size for a more snug fit for one deck. It'll be more deck boxes I'll be carrying around, but at least it'll be an easy pull out with just the one deck. I just need to get a playmat now. đ

I don't play, but I'm starting to get around to learning the game. I'm mostly a collector, so the accessories that I use are just storage and binders to hold cards. I would highly recommend the Dex Binder 9: dexprotection.com/shop/binders/dex-binder/498/dex-binder-9/It's fairly expensive, but the velvet interior is very nice and the strap keeps the cards secure. I was able to fit one of each card from OPUS I, and all but 4 cards for OPUS II into one folder. No issues with bent cards or anything, even with perfect fit sleeves. I've also purchased a custom mat with a design that I saw online with the Shinra logo: Since I had a FFVII theme going, I also made some custom card sleeves that have the Crisis Core save point logo on it: They're expensive, but I'll probably make another set of sleeves with the FFIX crystal logo on the back:

I like! They're simple, but still look nice. I need to get a playmat soon. The sleeves I bought are too expensive for me to play and scuff them on the table.
I just use regular binders for my collection with the 9 card pages. I have a lot of cards (from the Chapter series also), so it was more cost effective to go that route. I'm making a nonfoil and foil set for every set there is. So yeah, 9 card pages it is.

The only noteworthy thing I do is color match the sleeves for the cards in the binders. I use dragon shield matte sleeves, and they mostly match pretty well (green, sky blue, red, blue, purple), but the earth cards are a bit of a nuisance. Yellow is passable (but still too yellow) on the opus cards since there's a hint of yellow in them, but the Japanese chapter cards have no yellow...so I use umber, but it's too brown. They need to make one in between.

I really like this idea with the colored sleeves showing as the border. I don't think I could go back and change mine though to copy this. Too many cards. đ It also might not look as good as yours with your black binder pages. Mine are clear 9-card pages.
