With Opus II coming soon (I'd heard March but that might not be true), I thought we could start discussing the spoilers.
The following link seems to be the most up to date list collating the cards that have been revealed or leaked so far:
final-fantasy-card-game.wikia.com/wiki/Opus_II_Collection
I'm quite interested in the new Vaan. The ability to return a backup to my hand has got me trying to work out what broken things you could do by repeatedly replaying the same backup every turn. The best I have come up with so far would be using Chemist (1-032C) so that Vaan could not be broken each turn (to enable you to freely attack with him) or Jihl Nabaat (1-193S) to get to freeze two of your opponent's forwards each turn (and thus hopefully allowing Vaan to continue to attack also).
Anything particularly stand out to you? Any types of card or character you want to see in the new set?

At the moment, my favourite spoiled card is Warrior of Light (mostly the design). He gets 2000 less damage and he will be interesting to defend again more powerful forwards. Another interesting card for me is Squall: his skill seems amazing to me (with a full board of backups he will be easily in 10000-11000 power).
On the other hand, I want to see a card of Rydia with a beautiful design.
By the way, Opus II's launchment is on 24th March (official day for Spain and I suppose for Europe).

Warrior of Light is interesting, although I wonder if the translation is off, because it seems odd that he would give the ability to Forwards who have the job 'Warrior of Light' as nothing currently has that job. I wonder if it should be just 'Warrior', in which case he makes a lot of other cards look a lot stronger.
I had to re-read Squall after you comment and i'd missed that it was all Characters, not just Forwards. The way that his two abilities interact is really nice as an attacking threat, and just trying to use damage based removal on him might not work out if you have to Dull your Backups to play it.
Rydia would be nice, some of her artwork is stunning.
Ah, thanks for the heads-up, wasn't sure if it had been officially comfirmed.

I don't know exactly if this is alright, but in this link you can see almost all the cards of the Opus II: imgur.com/gallery/o2xS0Please, delete this post if it's not correct do that ^^u. I must say that I like only a bunch of cards (I'm talking about design, not skills, power, etc.).

I am liking the new FFXIV cards. I thought it was a smart move for Square Enix to sell Opus II early at the FFXIV Fanfest. The in-game Dissidia card artwork was never really my favorite though. As for card specifics, I'm not there yet to determine what cards are good or not. :/

Been working through these trying to get some initial evaluations of them down and I find the design of Palom really interesting. Firstly the 1CP Palom is able to sacrifice itself to put the 3CP Palom into play, which triggers the damage ability to do 7000 damage. Then the 3CP one in play is a way to do direct damage to your opponent, something that you could not do previously. Lots going on there if you can find a way to make a Palom/Porom deck work, being Fire/Water.

Put my pre-order down for a box of Opus II with my LGS today, getting so hyped for the new set!

I preordered two boxes back in December. I prepared myself for another shortage in the U.S. One store warned everyone that Opus II numbers are going to be similar as Opus I distribution numbers. Hopefully it won't be too bad since there's less cards in Opus II.

I preordered one Opus II box a week ago more or less. I'm thinking that, with good changes between friends, with one box is enough to get one copy of every card at least. Do you agree?

It'd be nice if that did happen. I'm wondering how Square Enix will do the Legendary rate per box. I thought it's better to get two boxes just in case.

Super excited now that we're only a week or so away from the new set Is anyone else going to any pre-release events? I'm gutted that I can't make the one at my LGS. It'd be great to get my hands on the new cards as soon as possible, but also would love to try out the draft format. Seems very different to both the regular constructed format and drafting in other games (like MTG).

I'm one of the organizers and we can't receive more pre-inscriptions now. It seems that people are very excited about Opus II ^^.
