Square Enix is hosting its first FINAL FANTASY TRADING CARD GAME NORTH AMERICA 2018 CRYSTAL CUP on April 6th & 7th, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts! Join us for a 2-day Constructed Tournament at PAX East. The road to the Championship starts here, as Crystal Cups are your chance to qualify for the 2018 North American Championship. This event will be open to the first 150 players who complete the registration process, so act quickly to secure your spot.
(Please note: while we are partnering with PAX East for the event, a PAX East badge is NOT required for entry.)
What type of event is a North America Crystal Cup?
This is a 2-day Constructed Tournament, and the first official Crystal Cup in North America! Please see the Official Rules for full terms and conditions.
Players participating in this event have a chance to qualify for the 2018 North American Championship. Since players must qualify to attend the NA Championship, Crystal Cups are a great event to earn your spot!
What can I win?
The tournament will have eight winners: one tournament champion, one second-place finisher, two semi-finalist winners (i.e., the two (2) players who reached the semi-final round but who did not proceed to the finals), and four quarter finalist winners (i.e., the four (4) players who reached the quarter-final round but who did not proceed to the semi-finals).
The tournament champion shall receive each of the following prizes:
o One (1) Full Premium Foil Set of Opus V Cards (approximate retail value of $300.00 USD)
o One (1) Set of Organized Play Promos [June 2017 to April 2018] (approximate retail value of $10.00 USD)

Schedule
The tournament will start on Friday, April 6th and begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Participants may begin checking in at 9:00 a.m. EDT. Players must check in by 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time or risk being disqualified. More details on the schedule, including side events, will be posted on the official website and official Facebook page @finalfantasytcg at a later date.

You are responsible for all transportation, accommodations, and meals before, during, and after the tournament. Outside food will not be permitted in the ballroom.
Deck Construction
Game decks may contain cards from only OPUS I, II III, IV, V; Starter Sets VII, IX, X, XII, XIII, XIII (2018), XIV and TYPE-0; and promotional cards PR-001, PR-002, PR-003. Use of any other cards will result in disqualification.
You can download a copy of the deck registration sheet here to fill it out in advance. Deck registration sheets will be collected at the start of the event.
Registration
Registration Fee: $30.00 (limit one ticket per person)
In order to participate in the tournament, you must complete the registration process on this website between [START DATE] (Eastern Time) and April 6th at 10:00 AM (Eastern Time). Space is limited – only the first 150 valid registrations will be accepted.
Due to the capacity of the venue, anyone who has not purchased a ticket will be denied entry to Day 1. We will not accept additional registrants once we reach capacity.
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
Recording and Livestream
Portions of the tournament may be photographed, and audio or video may be recorded and livestreamed on the Internet. By participating in the tournament, you understand and agree that your name, voice, and/or likeness may be recorded and may be livestreamed over the Internet or otherwise used.
Eligibility
This event is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec). Participation is open only to individuals 13 years of age or older at the date and time of entry. For individuals under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must (i) grant the minor permission to register for and participate in the tournament, (ii) accompany the minor to the tournament, and (iii) agree in writing to the full terms and conditions in the Official Rules.
The name on a ticket must match the name on your valid government-issued photo I.D. Participants will be denied entry if the name on the ticket does not match the photo I.D.
