Hello Just started playing the game 48 hours ago and have started to put together a deck around cards that I have managed to trade. I based it around my favourite creatures, Chocobo's! Hi there, glad you've picked up the game and got your first deck together Looks like a good build to me. It's not a strategy i've played with myself but it looks like you can do a lot of party attacking and make blocking very difficult for your opponent. I also like your inclusion of Moogle as a way to get rid of the second copy of Zemus if you draw them both. Refia could be an interesting addition to your deck, but then your Forwards CP costs are pretty low anyway so it might not make much difference. Otherwise, nothing jumps out as an obvious change to be made. If you can get some games in with it and see how it fares, then perhaps could suggest ways to improve anything it seems to struggle against

Thank you for the response.
Refia sounds pretty good, would make my 2 drops 1's and the 3cp chocobo a 1 discard, but not sure what I would get rid of.
I was having issues with the lightning and fire elements abilities to do small damage to many creatures and killing my set up.
This was before the extra aeriths, not sure if this is enough protection?

What about adding Cecil (2-129L) as a way to protect your Forwards from the damage based lightning and fire based abilities? It also works nicely as an additional buff for your smaller Forwards (especially when they have First Strike) and you might be able to get round his blocking clause by attacking with him each turn partied with Knights. Obviously he's a lot more CP than the rest of the deck but seems like it could be worth it.

O wow! That card is amazing. It is expensive but we'll worth every point. Not only is it a shield against damage it gives a nice 1k boost That is exactly what I need, thank you for the advise

What would you recommend to remove?
I am thinking a mime and another card for 2?

No worries, happy to help 2 Cecil would seem right to me and cutting a Mime seems fine. I'd possibly consider also dropping 1 of the 2 cost Aerith. You presumably never want to play her as a Backup (as she is only there to activate Planet Protector) and as Cecil should protect you in a similar way, you should need to activate it less than before. Just an idea.

Yeah that seems like good logic, the 2cp aerith is there a crystal fodder and to protect my units with the 3cp one so dropping seems like a good idea Thank you Updating list now, can't wait to get hem and try out Cecil

Any update to your deck with Opus III out? I'd imagine Black Chocobo would fit in nicely here.
