Join us and Final Fantasy Trading Card Game Chief Producer Taro Kageyama in sunny Seville, Spain the weekend of 7 & 8th September for an event to remember and tons of exclusive goodies, beginners welcome!

Today we bring you no less than the 3 FFTCG Directors: Takeshi Arai, Masaya Yamaguchi & Kenji Watanabe! They are so excited to travel to Europe and meet you all, hang out and of course play tons of games as they will become the Lords of Chaos for the time of the weekend. ^^

Format Overview

"
Get ready for 2 Days of Fun, Battles and an Amazing Experience.
It is not a Tournament – well at least not the usual way.
You will all compete in Teams of 3 Players; you can either register your Team on the day itself or search for other players on the Event. We will assist you in finding a Team!

Even if you have little to no experience in FFTCG, you can just grab a Starter Deck and come to play.

The Rules are easy – every Player has to bring a 50-card Deck, but with some unusual restrictions. You are not allowed to run any Hero (H) or Legend (L) card in your Deck. However, make sure to bring some of those as well, as you will be able to level up and upgrade your Deck.

Two Sides – One Quest
All Teams will be assigned to either the Warriors of Light or Warriors of Darkness Side and all victories that your Team achieves will count towards the total points for that Side.
Will the Warriors of Light or the Warriors of Darkness save Kageyama-san from the Void?

Gain Experience – Compete in the PvP Area against other Teams to gain XP to unlock Hero and Legend Slots for your Decks. Every Win counts, but each individual Team Match will be won by the Team who wins at least two of the three Games.

Battle the Bosses (and meet the amazing people behind FFTCG ^^) – Once you think you have gathered enough XP, you can challenge the Bosses after upgrading your Deck accordingly in a thrilling 3v1 Boss-Battle, following the exclusive Boss Battle Rules. Nevertheless, do not think this will be easy. The Bosses only grow stronger!

Collect Items – To help you defeat the Bosses you can collect some exclusive Items, which will help you during those fights by completing Side Missions and Mini Games as well as Side-Events. Each Item will grant you access to a Proxy-Card you can put in your Deck for a 1-time usage! So prepare for some never seen Abilities in FFTCG!

Join us in Seville for an unforgettable weekend of Final Fantasy Trading Card Game & Board Games with special guests from Japan, exclusive goodies, delicious food & drinks and great prizing!

As mentioned this week, we had to tweak the format a bit and here you will find all details now:

The Main-Event (Warriors of Light fighting against Warriors of Darkness to save Kageyama-san from the Chaos) will happen on Saturday all day. To determinate which team will be victorious you need to collect Points for your side - those points can be collected in the Main Battlefield or by fighting Bosses.

Main Battlefield:
In this 1on1 Combat, a Warrior of Light will be paired against a Warrior of Darkness - whoever wins this will collect XP and unlock a new Card Slot for his Deck (up to 3 Copies of a Hero or Legend). The other player has to go on a Side Quest to find support. Every win will also award 1 Point for your Side.

Each Side Quest will unlock a powerful Item-Card which can replace one card in your Deck.

The Side-Quests are:
- Chocobo Party Up!
- Cactpot Party
- Chocobo Crystal Hunt
- Tomb Raider Legends
- Final Fantasy Quiz
- Gunslinger Combat

When you feel like you gathered enough items and XP you can try to challenge one of the elemental bosses - Fire, Lightning, Earth, Water, Wind or Ice. This will be played 3v1 - so grab some Teammates or queue up by yourself and get paired with other brave heroes. A victory will award a total of 3 points for your side!
If you have successfully defeated all 6 elemental bosses - you can try to defeat the Darkness itself.
Will you be able to defeat Kageyama-san and his Nightmare-deck? A victory would award your team with a total of 9 Points to bring your side closer to the overall victory!

Speaking of Winning - there are also some Prizes you can win, based on the number of points you achieved.

For the Winning Team:
- The Top 3 Players will receive a Bring Arts Figure - Estinien
- The Top X Players will receive a FFTCG-Card signed by the Artist of that card. (*The final number and type of cards will be displayed at the Fan fest)
- The Top 8 will also receive a Lasswell and a Raubahn Promocard and a pack of FFTCG Masters 2019 Sleeves.
- The Top 16 will also receive another special Playmat
(*Design will be revealed shortly)
- Every Player in the Winning Team will also receive a Zidane-Promocard (Road to Worlds)

But we also have something for other team:
- The Top 3 Players will also receive the same Playmat mentioned above
- The Top 4 will receive a pack of the Masters Sleeves as well
- The Top 16 will receive a Lasswell-Promocard.

And there are more prizes

- 10 A002 Promocards!!!
- 1 limited edition Leather Moogle
- 4 Copies of Chocobo Party Up!
- 4 Copies of Tomb Raider Legends the Boardgame
- Summer Cup Playmats, Plushies &more
which be given away to lucky winners during the two days.

For Sunday we will open everything up.
The Boss-Battles can be played with your actual constructed decks (or decks that you just construct for this) in different difficulty levels. The Side-Quests can be played all day and there will be lots of Gunslinger against Hobby Japan and Staff Members as well.

And the European Qualifier-Side-Event with another Opportunity to win some Prizing:
- The Winner will qualify for the European Championship 2019
- The Top 4 will receive a pack of Masters 2019 Sleeves
- The Top 8 will receive a Plush
