Final Fantasy TCG World Championships in Singapore
Road to Worlds (RTW) Tournaments
National Championship

From January 1st, 2020, Organised Play Stores can host
Road to Worlds (RTW) Tournaments
Players participating at RTW Tournaments will have their score posted on the
Road to Worlds National Leaderboard
Throughout 2020, there will be 3 Leaderboard Seasons
Opus X (Jan-March) | Opus XI (April-June) | Opus XII (July-Sept)
At the end of each season, players will be able to redeem their points for
Exclusive Prize Support and Raffle Entries

Road to Worlds Championship
At the end of September, all 3 leaderboard results will combine to form the
Final Road to World Championship Leaderboard
The TOP 64 players on this Leaderboard will be invited to compete in the
Road to Worlds Championship
The Winner of the Road to World Championship will qualify to compete in the
Final Fantasy TCG 2020 World Championship in Singapore

]Are there still Store Championship Leaderboards?
The National Leaderboard is replacing Store Championship Leaderboards in 2020
Stores will still run regular weekly events, but these won’t attract points on the National Leaderboard
What are regular weekly events?
A casual weekly event that’s ideal for new players, the exclusive monthly promo cards can also be won here
How many RTW tournaments can I attend per month?
As many as you like, but only your 2 highest scores will count toward the National Leaderboard
How many RTW tournaments can a store host per month?
Stores can host 1 RTW tournament per month
What format is an RTW tournament?
Constructed or Draft | Minimum 8 Players | Best Of 1 | Swiss | 5 rounds
How are points earned at RTW tournaments?
1 Round Win = 3 points
If no rounds are won, that player receives 2 participation points
What is the entry cost and prizes in an RTW tournament?
The entry cost and prizes at the event are set by the Tournament Organiser.
However, each player receives at least 1 booster pack for attendance at a constructed event.
Can RTW Tournaments only be held on weekends?
RTW Tournaments can be held on any day of the week
Will I need an FFTCG OP Ticket to play in a RTW tournament?
Yes, this can be done here
What about Deck Lists and a Judge?
Deck Lists are a requirement and are available here.
Please bring one with you, just in-case you can’t get one at the venue
Judges are not required to be present at an RTW Tournament
However, the Tournament Organiser may decide to appoint one
Can Tournament Organisers play in their own RTW Tournament?
Yes
How do I redeem my points for prizes?
A Prize Redemption form will be published at the end of the Leaderboard Season
Redeemed prizes will be sent out for collection at your Local Organised Play Store
Are there any benefits to placing high on the RTW Leaderboard?
Players with a final score of 150+ will receive a Round 1 Bye at the Road to Worlds Championship
Players with a final score of 200+ will receive a Round 2 Bye at the Road to Worlds Championship
Players with a final score of 250+ will receive a Round 3 Bye at the Road to Worlds Championship
Also, all points recorded act as raffle entries
There are 4 raffles drawn each season (1 each month and 1 end of season)
