We pride ourselves on fostering a family atmosphere at our events and look forward to inviting back the European FFTCG community for another fantastic weekend after the success of our Summer Cup in 2019. The location is the City of London Academy (Southwark) in Bermondsey, London. The event is a short walk from South Bermondsey Overground and Bermondsey Underground Stations, and a longer walk from Surrey Quays and Canada Water. For those looking for accommodation we recommend anywhere along those lines such as in and around London Bridge if you can't find anywhere in Bermondsey itself. There is parking on-site for those who are driving down. Listed start time is for Doors Open and Registration. The Top 4 of every Crystal Cup will qualify for the European Championship and the Winner will win an invite to the World Championship 2020 in Singapore (with travel & accommodation sorted). Different to 2019, Square Enix have decided to change the Draft-portion of the Crystal Cups. Instead of drafting the current Opus-Set, we will Draft the FFTCG All-Stars Draft Cube, developed by Masahiko Morita from Hobby Japan. This All Stars Cube contains a total count of 500 different cards (without any duplicates). FB Europe Group: " +++ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THE UK CRYSTAL CUP +++ In the last Weeks, we had couple of Meetings and Brainstorms to decide about the upcoming Crystal Cup in London and the current COVID-19 (“coronavirus”) situation in UK. The truth is, none can predict the future right now (which makes planing those events incredibly hard), but for now we want to proceed with this event. But will change a few things to make this event safer for everyone: ◆ Venue & Size We will switch the Venue from the City of London Academy to the well known Silverlock TRA Hall (luckily The Brotherhood Games was able to get this Venue on short notice). The new address is: Silverlock TRA Hall, Warndon St, London SE16 2SB This will also reduce the size of this event, therefor we are capping the event at 100 Players. Currently we sold about 70 Tickets, which leaves 30 to go. ◆ Safety & Health To keep our events going, we need your help. So if you are not feeling well before or on the event, please inform as immediately and don't try to attend or finish the event. This is really important and we require your support here. ◆ Hand-shakes In addition to this, we would also ask you to refrain from the usual handshakes before or after the match. This is gonna be really hard for us as well, because we are really proud of our lovely Community, but we have to increase our Safety-measurements. FB Europe Group" Hello Michael from the Brotherhood Games here. Yesterday there was announcement about the CC for the 14th-15th March. We had capped the event at 100 players due to hall capacity. This morning i woke up to a SOLD OUT cc so i got onto the phone and spoke to our venue, if we can take the conference room to the side of the main hall. The answer was YES so we will be extending our tickets to the venue capacity of 128 once these tickets have GONE they have GONE. We would like to thank everyone for there understanding at this time. FB Europe Page Announcement" Unfortunately we got some bad news today. The Crystal Cup in London this weekend will be postponed to a later but undefined date. The recent events making it impossible for us to guarantee the safety of our players, staff and everyone involved. You can trust us, that this was the hardest decision in our event history right now, and we are terrible sorry about this decision. The Brotherhood Games will soon refund all the tickets and we will let you know about any more plans as soon as we have them. We don't know, how this decision as well as the recent cancellation of the Grand Opens will impact the current competitive Season and we can't answer those open questions right now. All we can say is, that we care a lot for this game and our Community, but we care more about your health. Please do not make any travel plans for the upcoming events right now as we might need to restructure the whole season after observing the situation surrounding the COVID-19 Corona-Virus.
