Happy 20th Anniversary to Final Fantasy Tactics! Yesterday was the anniversary for its release in Japan.
FF Tactics was my first Final Fantasy game and still remains to be one of my top favorite FF games.
I'm really hoping for another mature Tactics-like game with multiplayer features. They hinted at another possible Ivalice game if there's enough feedback for it. They're offering this now since the Ivalice team is back together again and had to work on the the FFXII The Zodiac Age.

Yeah I love Tactics. Have it on my Vita and go back to it fairly often as it still holds up just as well today as it did 20 years ago.
A new game would be fantastic news. I'm already super excited for Zodiac Age, so that would be a great follow-up.

I've played maybe 10 mins of tactics and out it down. It was when I was younger and didn't understand the tactical aspect of the game as I was used to the turn based system. Now that I understand it I've been getting an urge to play it with the card game being released.

zafri Yeah, this is definitely a "timeless" game that you can play no matter how old it gets. soccerwing Play it! It's one of the best FF stories out there (not just my biased opinion talking, but it's a well-received FF game).

FFT is Game of Thrones for the PS1 (they were even based on the same historical events). Now that GoT is so popular these days, people should go back and look at FFT in a different light and really immerse themselves in the lore. GRRM could even take a few notes from FFT. A perfect example right out of the gate is the cover art (NA PS1). It features some knights that also hog the entire intro cinematic to themselves. They're just the guys you kill in the first battle.
